PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University volleyball team will start its 2026 season with a new leader as La'Coria Tademy has been named its new head coach.

"I'm incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to lead the volleyball program at Louisiana Christian University," said Tademy. "From the moment I stepped on campus, I could feel how special this community is. I'm looking forward to building strong relationships with our student-athletes, creating a competitive and Christ-centered culture, and continuing to move this program forward. I'm ready to get to work and proud to be a Wildcat!"

Tademy comes to LCU after a three-year stint as the head coach of the Loyola College Prep volleyball team in Shreveport. She led the Flyers to the Division IV State Tournament all three seasons of her tenure, including a five-set first round thriller last season.

She also served as a coach at Rocketfuel318 Volleyball Club since 2020, helping develop athletes from the 14U to 18U levels.

"Coach Tademy has all the intangibles to be an outstanding head coach," said Louisiana Christian Vice President of Intercollegiate Athletics, Reni Mason. "As with any change, there will be a learning curve, but we are excited about her energy, her passion, and most importantly, her desire to develop young women both on and off the court. We are confident that La'Coria has the character, energy, and the vision to continue building on the legacy left by Coach [Brittany] Salloum."

The new LCU head coach is no stranger to NAIA volleyball. A 2019 graduate of Central Baptist College with a Bachelor's in Exercise & Sport Science, Tademy played on the Mustangs volleyball team for all four of her years in Conway, Ark. as a defensive specialist and libero.

Tademy becomes just the second head coach in the LCU volleyball program's history since its formation in 2017, following Brittany Salloum who stepped down as coach to focus on her roles in the LCU athletics administration.
