KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program remains on the precipice of the NAIA Top 25 in the second-to-last poll of the regular season, losing a pair of points but gaining a spot in the rankings, jumping up one to the 26th-best team in the country on Wednesday morning.
 
A lot has happened in the two weeks since the latest iteration came out on March 26 as the Court Cats split six matches over that timeframe, defeating Texas Wesleyan (4-0), Hinds CC (8-1), and Belhaven (7-0) while falling to (RV) LSU Shreveport (4-3), #11 Xavier (4-3), and #8 Loyola-New Orleans (6-1).
 
Viewing the list as currently constructed, the Orange and Blue have claimed a pair of top-25 victories in 2025 versus #20 Our Lady of the Lake on March 2 as well as #25 LSUS on February 22 while their strength of schedule has never wavered with tough competition abound that included #8 Loyola, #12 Xavier, #13 Dillard.
 
A chance to potentially lock up a bid to the NAIA Tournament lies ahead as the regular season finale pits the #26 Wildcats against the #9 Generals of LSU Alexandria, right here at Richard L. Crowell Tennis Center on Thursday at 1 p.m. for Senior Day.
