PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program is back for its second go-round after returning from the chopping block in 2023-24, aiming for even higher goals under Head Coach Alexandra Starkova.

The ladies get underway up in Ruston on January 25 when they take on the host Bulldogs of Louisiana Tech at 1:30 p.m., immediately followed by the Southern Arkansas Muleriders on the same court.

After knocking off the Tigers for the team's first NCAA Division I win since at least 2008 in the previous campaign, the Wildcats will host Grambling State for its home opener on February 8, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Richard L. Crowell Tennis Center.

LCU returns to one of its fall destinations of Hammond from February 15-16 for a pair of matches with the Southeastern Louisiana Lions and the Dillard Bleu Devils, respectively, the latter of which being ranked #10 in the NAIA Preseason Poll and the newest member of the conference as an affiliate member.

The opponent on the other side of two epic battles last year is scheduled just once this campaign, a road tilt at (RV) LSU Shreveport on February 22.

The first weekend of March will find the court-dwellers in the Alamo City as they tangle with the St. Mary's Rattlers (March 1) and league foe (RV) Our Lady of the Lake (March 2) before making a pit stop in Seguin to battle Texas Lutheran (March 3) in addition to a possible date with Schreiner.

The second home match of four will be versus Copiah-Lincoln Community College on March 8 before a nearly two-week break leading into another top-25 matchup in Mobile against the #22 Rams of the same name on March 21.

Louisiana Christian and LSU Alexandria will partner up to co-host a tournament in back-to-back years from March 27 to March 30 with the event schedule yet to be determined.

The Cats are then off to the suburbs of the Magnolia State capital in Rayville, Mississippi to tackle Hinds CC and Belhaven on April 4.

One day later, the women from Pineville welcome the ninth-ranked Loyola Wolfpack to campus for a massive non-conference clash with the time to be determined.

Senior Day will be extra special this season as the soon-to-be graduates get one final crack at their Red River Rivals on April 12 which enter the new year at #11.

Back to San Antonio the team will go with hopes of their first ever Conference Championship and National Tournament berth from April 17-20 at the Blossom Tennis Center.
