PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University women's tennis program is back and ready to roll after a two-year hiatus, kicking off its reinstatement season with three home matches as well as playing host to a joint tournament inside Richard L. Crowell Tennis Center.

Head Coach Alexandra Starkova and the Wildcats' first trio of matches will come in Ruston, Louisiana where they will face NCAA Division I opponents Grambling State on January 26 (3 p.m.) and the host Louisiana Tech on January 27 (11 a.m.) on top of NCAA Division II foe Southern Arkansas following the conclusion of the contest with the Bulldogs (2 p.m.).

The Orange and Blue welcome Southeastern Louisiana to "The Hill" for a noon showdown on February 3 in what will be the first game on-campus since late April 2021.

Next, LCU will head to the Magnolia State for a pair of matches at Hinds Community College (February 9, 4 p.m.) and Millsaps (February 10, 1 p.m.) before returning to Pineville for its Red River debut versus LSU Shreveport (February 17, 1 p.m.).

While the opponents are yet to be determined, Louisiana Christian will welcome all adversaries for a four-day tournament from Thursday, February 22 through Sunday, February 25.

Back on the road go the Cats as they make the short trek north to Shreveport for another RRAC tussle with the Pilots of LSUS (9 a.m.) along with Texas Wesleyan (12:30 p.m.) for a tri-match on March 8.

The final home match will be possibly the team's biggest test as the Wildcats host the NAIA Preseason 11th-ranked Wolfpack of Loyola (New Orleans) at the Crowell Center on Friday, March 15 with first serve scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Alabama will be their "Sweet Home" on March 31 and April 1 as they will spend those dates at Spring Hill in Mobile (TBA) and Coastal Alabama Community College in Bay Minette (10 a.m.), respectively.

A quick trip across the Red River to participate in a tournament hosted by LSUA will occur from April 4 to April 7 before wrapping up the regular season with a RRAC tri-match at LSU Shreveport (11 a.m.) in addition to Texas A&M-Texarkana (2 p.m.) on April 13.

Finally, the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament will take place at some point in mid-to-late April with the date and location still up in the air.
