MOBILE, Ala. – The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer team had early opportunities in its match-up against (RV) Faulkner, but a run of four goals in 20 minutes in the second half allowed the Eagles to pull away as the Wildcats dropped a 5-0 decision Saturday evening at The Jungle on the campus of the University of Mobile.

Juan Sierra put a shot on net in the ninth minute which was saved.
LCU continued its pressure through the opening minutes, but it was Faulkner (3-0) which found the only goal of the first half which came in the 20
th minute.
But the second half belonged to the Eagles as Faulkner found the back of the net in the 54
th, 61
st, 67
th, and 73
rd minutes for the result.
Sierra took five of LCU's seven shots in the match, putting three on frame which accounted for all of LCU's shots on target.
Aran Hernández Vivar took two shots in the match.
Ricardo Gross (0-3) was credited with five saves but four goals scored allowed, including an unfortunate bounce off a save that ricocheted off a teammate and went into the net, in just more than 68 minutes in net.
Tyson Cole finished the last 22 minutes in goal, making a save and allowing a goal.
The Wildcats come home for the first time this season next Saturday as Huston-Tillotson comes to Pineville. Kickoff of Saturday's contest with the Rams (0-1-3) is set for 1 p.m. at Wildcat Field.
