With the game tied at 6-6, Louisiana Christian (1-6, 0-1 RRAC) took its first lead of the game on a pair of

#14 LSU Alexandria (4-3, 1-0 RRAC) cut that down to four points at 20-16 before LCU scored six-straight to get the lead to double-digits for the first time as a pair of
Bryce Weinmunson free throws put the Wildcats up 26-16 with just less than four minutes left until the break.
LCU's largest lead of the game came with 90 seconds before half as Tebbe found Weinmunson cutting to the rim for a lay-up and a 29-18 Wildcat advantage. LSUA scored the period's final five points to cut the LCU lead down to six, 29-23, as the buzzer sounded and the teams went to the locker room.
Out of the half, Weinmunson got to the rim again for another lay-up, extending the Wildcat lead back to eight points at 31-23.
But that's where the Generals started to find their rhythm. A 14-2 LSUA run got the Generals in the lead, 37-33. LCU stayed within striking distance as a three-pointer by Jones made it 51-48 Generals with nine minutes left.
LCU was within seven at 66-59 with 2:30 left after Tebbe hit a pair of free throws, but a 6-0 spurt by the Generals was enough to close it out as LSUA went up 72-59 with a minute remaining.
Weinmunson led the Wildcats with 18 points, going seven-of-15 from the field while giving out five assists, grabbing four rebounds, and coming up with a steal.
