JACKSONVILLE, Texas – The Louisiana Christian University men's golf program finished ahead of Collin College, one of Jacksonville (Texas) College's groups, and Arlington Baptist as the Wildcats teed off on its first event of the 2024-25 calendar year.

Wildcats Top Performers:
- Blake Francis, the top returner from last season's squad, finished with the lowest score of the Wildcats, ranking 25th out of 61 competitors at +20 and was better than 59% of the field after shooting up eight spots in the final round, the third biggest leap of day two.
- Jackson McCormick logged the best debut among the newcomers to "The Hill", posting a stroke total of 235 which put him 22 over par.
- Cooper Ware, one of two student-athletes back for another go, came in 42nd overall (+31) with his best round sandwiched into the second slot when he was only +4.
- Pineville natives / brothers Silas Freeman as well as Josiah Freeman wrapped up the scoring for the Orange and Blue, producing a +36 (45th) and +41 (52nd), respectively.

- For the second straight fall season, the Wildcats will follow up its trip to Jacksonville with the Houston-Victoria Fall Classic, approximately one month later from October 21 to October 22.
