PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program has each of its four fall sports fully entrenched in their Red River and Sooner Athletic Conference's slates while both the men's golf as well as the women's tennis squads get their exhibition schedules in motion this week.
Monday, September 23 – Tuesday, September 24:
Newly anointed Head Coach
Josh Graham, a former 13-year caddie on the PGA Tour, takes over the men's golf program in 2024-25 with their opening event taking place in the Lone Star State on Monday and Tuesday, participating in the Jacksonville (Texas) CC Invitational.
Thursday, September 26:
The soccer squads square off against the University of the Southwest (New Mexico) Mustangs on Thursday evening (5 and 7:30 p.m.) as the two teams hope to keep their unbeaten streak inside
Wildcat Field alive, currently combining to go 4-0-1 (90%).
Friday, September 27 – Sunday, September 29:
Year two of the women's tennis rebirth gets underway down in New Orleans with a three-day excursion to the Crescent City for an ITA Tournament, hosted by Xavier (Louisiana).
Saturday, September 28:
Nonstop, wall-to-wall action awaits on Saturday as volleyball joins the tennis team down in the Big Easy for a tri-match at Loyola (New Orleans) where they will battle William Carey at 1 p.m., followed by the host Wolfpack at 3 p.m.
The first whistle for the soccer double-dip will happen at approximately the same time as volleyball's first serve when Paul Quinn comes to Pineville.
The Coach McLaughlin era, which began with a rousing beatdown of Langston University in the SAC Opener on Saturday, will go for their first winning streak of the tenure and get back to .500 on the campaign when they hope to spice things up in Plainview against the Wayland Baptist Pioneers at 4 p.m. over in the stovepipe of Texas.
