PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program would like to recognize football's Levi Hilborn and both volleyball's Kate Campbell as well as Emma Cother, as this week's LCU Student-Athletes of the Week.
 
Campbell, a senior outside and right side hitter from Watson, Louisiana, won the first weekly accolade of her career for her stellar showing at the Wiley Showdown, leading the Wildcats in points per set (3.5), kills per set (3.50), total points (21) and total kills (21) while hitting .244 on top of two digs. The Live Oak High School alum moved into seventh place on the program's all-time points list (284) and was pivotal in helping the team log the ninth-best hitting percentage in school history during the sweep at Wiley (.297) as she hit .261 in the match.
 
Cother, a junior from Carencro, Louisiana, has become no stranger to these types of articles as this marks her fifth career weekly award and fourth being the top setter. The 5-foot-6 Teurlings Catholic High School alum averaged 8.33 assists & 2.33 digs per set while recording a trio of points, a pair of service aces plus a kill. In the beatdown of Wiley, she averaged an even ten assists per set (30 total) while also moving into seventh on the program's single-season assist leaderboard (318).
 
Hilborn, a junior from La Porte, Texas, who logged just three punts in his first 17 games on "The Hill", booted away seven in his debut as the first string punter. Against #12 St. Thomas (Florida), he averaged 38.6 yards per kick (270 total) with two of those going for 50-plus and another being downed inside the Bobcats' redzone while also making his lone field goal attempt from 25 yards out.
 
Campbell, Cother and the Court Cats open RRAC action on Friday and Saturday at Southwest (New Mexico) with the matches taking place at 8 p.m. and 1 p.m. central time.
 
Hilborn and the Gridiron Cats head to H-Town to face the Houston Christian Huskies at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
