PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program enters uncharted territory this week as it begins a 23-day stretch without a single home contest on-campus, a rarity with four fall sports competing at once, as soccer faces a pair of top-25 clubs while volleyball participates in five matches.

Brittany Salloum and her ladies will travel to the Big Easy for a outside-the-box crosstown doubleheader rematch at SUNO and Dillard, playing the Knights at 5 p.m. inside
The Castle before bussing over to
Albert W. Dent Hall for a 7 p.m. showdown with the Bleu Devils.

Women's soccer will attempt to pull a David and slay Goliath on Thursday in the form of the 2023 NAIA Runners-Up #2 William Carey Crusaders in Hattiesburg at 5 p.m., narrowly falling in the last two meetings by matching 1-0 margins, including its first postseason appearance back in the Fall of 2021.

Volleyball will bring back some memories of its NCAA Division III roots this weekend, kicking things off with former American Southwest Conference rival Howard Payne at 2 p.m. followed by a seemingly annual adversary in the host Ladies of Centenary at 6 p.m. as part of the Country Cajun Classic.

Volleyball and (RV) men's soccer will conclude the month of August versus non-conference stalwart Millsaps (11 a.m.) and #20 William Carey (5 p.m.) respectively, with the latter being a golden opportunity for the "footballers" as a win/tie could propel them into the NAIA's Top-25 for the first time in program history.
