KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Louisiana Christian University men's soccer program fell 17 spots after a 2-2 showing since the latest edition of the top-25 poll, however, their 27-week streak of inclusion in at least the receiving votes category lives on as they garnered seven points at #43 in the final poll of the regular season.
LSU Shreveport has steadily climbed up the ladder and the Red River Athletic Conference Regular Season Champions have broken through into the top-20 at #19.
Making their 2024 debut is the Xavier (Louisiana) Gold Rush, who knocked off the Wildcats in the regular season finale on Saturday and are currently riding a nine-match winning streak as the #2 seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
Non-conference opponents that made an appearance in the latest list included #12 William Carey (1-1, Tie) and (RV) Williams Baptist (3-0, Loss).
Head Coach
David Castillo and his men are the fifth seed in the RRAC Tournament, making their way back to the Alamo City on Friday for a 2 p.m. tilt with the fourth-seeded Texas A&M-San Antonio in the Quarterfinals.
