Nine Games & A Weekend Tournament Dot The Week Ahead

PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program will be in action all over the Deep South with seven different teams spread across four states.
 
Monday, November 4:
 
Men's hoops gets a chance to play in one of the most historic venues in college basketball, invading Avron B. Fogelman Arena in the Devlin Fieldhouse, the ninth-oldest active arena in the country, for a 6:30 p.m. exhibition at Tulane.
 
Tuesday, November 5:
 
The Regular Season opener arrives Tuesday night just a streetcar away from TU as the women open the festivities at 5 p.m. while the men follow at 7 p.m. opposite Dillard.
 
Thursday, November 7 or Friday, November 8:
  
The date and time have yet to be determined but, the 2023 RRAC Tournament Champion and (RV) men's soccer club will have a much more difficult path back to the title game this go-round with the conference quarterfinals being held on the campus of #4 seed Texas A&M-San Antonio, who dispatched the #5 seed Wildcats a few matches prior.
 
Friday, November 8:
 
First year Women's Soccer Head Coach Harrison Houle has been a mastermind in leading the projected fifth place team in the preseason poll to a runner-up finish in the regular season, guiding the Cats to the #2 seed in the RRAC Tournament and the home-field advantage that comes with it during the quarterfinal match, which will take place Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. versus the #7 seed Our Lady of the Lake Saints.
 
Later that evening in the Big D will see volleyball, fresh off sewing up its third consecutive postseason appearance with a Senior Morning victory, look to improve its seeding in the Tiger's Den when they so battle at 7 p.m. against Paul Quinn College.
 
Friday, November 8 – Sunday, November 10:
 
Women's tennis led by Alexandra Starkova concludes its preseason with the George E. Fourmaux Invitational hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University over the weekend in Hammond.
 
Saturday, November 9:
 
Volleyball ends the regular season against the squad it could possibly match up with in the First Round of the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament for a noon first serve.
 
The Gridiron Cats get back on the bus and head north to Little Rock in search of their first winning streak of the Ben McLaughlin era at Arkansas Baptist.
 
Men's basketball looks to defeat the William Carey Crusaders for the third season in-a-row when they square off in the Hub City at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
