PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program will have a lot of action taking place all week long across its numerous sports teams as three squads look to keep their NAIA Tournament dreams alive, two are looking to start the conference slate on the right foot, and the other is looking to spoil a perfect season bid.

Monday, November 11:

Women's basketball will take to the court for a rare early morning Monday matinee at 11 a.m., heading north to ULM for an exhibition with the Warhawks for the fifth straight season.

The men will go to war later that evening approximately 100 miles west on I-20, taking on the Gents of Centenary for a 7 p.m. fight.

Tuesday, November 12:

First year women's Head Coach Harrison Houle and fifth year men's Head Coach David Castillo are on the doorstep of their goals on Tuesday as the #2 seed ladies face #3 seed Xavier in a regular season finale rematch at 1:30 p.m. and the #5 seed guys take on the #1 seed / #19-ranked LSU Shreveport at 5 p.m. in the RRAC Semifinals.

A win there would potentially secure a spot in the national dance for the women if LSUS wins their contest just before and for the men, it would mark the second straight season that they bounced the regular season champions in the postseason.

The RRAC Championship will be on Thursday at 1 p.m. (women) and 3:30 p.m. (men) if they are to make it that far.

Thursday, November 14:

Red River Athletic Conference basketball is upon us beginning this Thursday at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. as the two teams hope to provide a rude welcome to the collegiate basketball landscape for fledgling program Texas A&M-San Antonio, as the first-year club will be playing in their first ever league matchups.

Friday, November 15:

Fourth-seeded volleyball will look to cage the fifth-seeded Paul Quinn Tigers in its third consecutive match, this time meeting at a neutral site inside Mabee Gymnasium at 10:30 a.m. on the campus of Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio for the First Round.

The winner of that game would take on the 2024 RRAC Regular Season Champion Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles later that day (4:30 p.m.) in the Semifinals.

The Championship match will be on Saturday between the winner of the #5/4-#1 game and either #6 Jarvis Christian, #3 Xavier (Louisiana), or the #2 hosts from OLLU.

Saturday, November 16:

Hoops remains inside H.O. West Fieldhouse on Saturday for a doubleheader against the Saints from the Alamo City (Our Lady of the Lake) for a 1/3 p.m. tip-off.

Across campus, 12 defensive players and eight offensive student-athletes will make their final appearance on the turf of Wildcat Field for Senior Day at 2 p.m. against the unbeaten and top-ten ranked team in the NAIA from Texas Wesleyan.
