PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program has a chance for three of their teams to make huge boosts to their conference title hopes as volleyball travels to OLLU while the soccer teams each welcome TAMUT and LSUS to "The Hill".
   
The (RV) Texarkana Eagles (ten points) come to roost in Pineville on Thursday night as the Wildcat women, who sit just behind them at nine points, try to clip their wings at 5 p.m. while the men, also at nine points, try to keep down a visiting club who is towards the middle of the pack in 2024 at 7:30 p.m. inside Wildcat Field.
    
Volleyball will have its second consecutive road trip against a powerhouse opponent, this time at Our Lady of the Lake as the Saints have gone a combined 47-3 (94%) against the Red River Athletic Conference since the Cats joined in fall of 2021. First serve is set for 7 p.m. at Mabee Gymnasium.
   
The court-dwelling ladies get a second crack at the squad who has been on the periphery of the NAIA top-25 most of the season with a noon start time.
 
LCU women's soccer will try to make the water choppy for the Pilots of LSU Shreveport when they visit town at 1 p.m. while the men's game is a rematch of the 2023 RRAC Championship Game between two teams receiving votes, with the winner having the inside track at the auto bid to the NAIA Tournament shortly thereafter.
 
Coach McLaughlin and the football program will attempt to tame the Stallions of North American at 3 p.m. on Saturday in the non-conference finale against their SAC scheduling partner over in Stafford.
