PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University softball program will be receiving some facility upgrades to Wildcat Park this fall as Bank of Montgomery pitched in a $5,000 donation to help fund a brand new state-of-the-art bullpen and they will be on-hand to deliver the check at 2 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The new pitching area, located behind the Wildcats' dugout down the left field line, will double the previous number of pitching tracks from two to four and will be comprised solely of artificial turf to reduce maintenance costs.

"The LCU softball program is so appreciative of Athletic Director Reni Mason, the athletic department, and all of our sponsors/donors, especially Bank of Montgomery," said Head Coach Barry Roberts. "With this new high-quality addition to the park, our pitchers and catchers can train more effectively. We thank everyone that had a part in making this dream into a reality."

The Orange and Blue continue their fall ball season on Wednesday when they host Baton Rouge Community College at 2;30 p.m. on top of afternoon tilts with East Central Community College on Friday (1 p.m.) and Saturday against Angelina College (1 p.m.) on-campus.
