PINEVILLE, La. – The Louisiana Christian University athletics program has a full slate of home contests throughout the week as part of the Homecoming festivities with each of the four fall sports hosting at least one event.
 
Wednesday, October 25:
 
Volleyball's official Homecoming match was supposed to take place on Friday vs. Southern University of New Orleans, but it was cancelled, so now their lone match of the week will take place opposite Pearl River Community College in an exhibition at 5 p.m. inside H.O. West Fieldhouse.
 
Thursday, October 26:
 
Soccer will look to give the North American Stallions a rude welcome to the Red River Athletic Conference in the first ever matchup between the schools on the pitch at 5/7:30 p.m. as it is just NAU's second season as a program.
 
Saturday, October 28:
 
Football will kick off a full day of Wildcat action at 2 p.m. when Head Coach Drew Maddox's men attempt to bounce back from its first loss since October 1, 2022 against the Lions of Southwestern Assemblies of God (SAGU).
 
Immediately following the conclusion of the American football game, the fútbol teams will take the field against Xavier (Louisiana) for Senior Night at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
 
The women will look to knock off a surprising Gold Nuggets squad that has rocketed to the top of the standings at 9-2 in their debut season as a program and currently sit in second place behind LSU Alexandria, who the Orange and Blue handed their first and only RRAC loss in a 6-1 blowout in the conference opener.
 
Depending on how the week shakes out around the league, Saturday's men's contest could be for the RRAC Regular Season Championship and an automatic berth to the NAIA National Tournament as the Gold Rush and the Wildcats are within a half-game of each other heading into the final two matches of the year at first and second place, respectively.
