TEXARKANA, Texas – With the 2021 soccer season ending, two Louisiana Christian University men's soccer players were honored as All-Red River Athletic Conference players, the conference office announced.
Alvaro Tudanca, a senior midfielder from Madrid, Spain, was named to the All-Conference Second Team. Tudanca led the team with ten goals on the season, four of which turned out to be the game-winning goal in the match. The Union University transfer scored a team-high 23 points on the season off the ten goals and three assists. He finished the season with 43 total shoots and put a team-high 24 on target throughout the season. This is Tudanca's first All-Conference award as part of the Wildcats and was once named RRAC Offensive Player of the Week during the season.
Adrian Amoros Navarro, a freshman midfielder from Alicante, Valencia, Spain, was named All-Conference Honorable Mention and a member of the All-Freshman team. Amoros Navarro scored five goals, one of which being a game-winner in overtime and tallied five assists to finish the season with 15 points for 2021. He took 26 shots throughout the season with 14 on target. He was once named RRAC Offensive Player of the Week and this is his first postseason conference award.
The conference also recognized
Seth Collins as the team's representative on the Champions of Character team.
Louisiana Christian finished the season 10-8 overall, 5-6 in Red River Athletic Conference play, and advanced into the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament. This was the Wildcats first double-digit win season.
